Graduation Weekend May 1-4

Graduates at Coe graduationGraduation from Coe College is truly a milestone! The Coe community is looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2025. The Graduation Weekend website is designed to provide information about Commencement and related events at Coe.

Registration for Fall 2025

Registration for Fall 2025 courses will take place April 14-18. Students will be given a registration time based on their earned credits and will be able to select their courses on my.coe.edu during their time slot. The registration times and dates can be found on my.coe.edu under Student > Registrar's Office > Registration Forms and Handouts.

Student meeting with a professorNote: Students must meet with their advisor during advising season, which takes place March 24-April 11, in order to register. These advising meetings help ensure that the students are on pace to graduate and confirm which courses they will need to register for to continue on that path.


Student Housing

2025 Summer Housing

Coe's summer break runs from May 5-August 8. Limited campus housing is available. Applications will be available through Residence by Symplicity on each student's my.coe.edu page beginning March 31. Please note that space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come/first-served basis. Buildings for summer may vary based on the college's needs.

Costs:

  • Residence Halls per week $85.00 (Double rooms only, no singles available)
  • Apartments per week $150.00 (Double rooms only, no singles available)
  • Full-Time Spring Students: 1st May Term $0.00
  • ​​​​​​​Full-Time Spring Students: May Term per term $250.00

Summer Housing 2025 is available in Whipple Hall and Hamptons East. Limited space/roommates required. Students in need of a roommate can contact the Office of Residence Life for assistance: 319-399-8843.

Summer Housing is based on the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in Summer Block classes or May Term.
  • ​​​​​​​Working for Coe College during the summer months. If a student quits their job, they must be checked out of Residence Halls within 24 hours.
  • Internship affiliated with Coe College/Coe Credit toward graduation.
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Returning to Coe Residence Halls for the Fall term.
  • ​​​​​​​Students can only stay for the session in which they are enrolled. (Example: Those enrolled in Summer B Block Session in July can only stay during that period.)

All billing for summer housing is applied to their student account every week.

Returning student housing selection for Fall 2025 will begin March 24, 2025 with single room selection. On March 25, 2025 traditional room selection will begin. Students can find their housing application located in their my.coe.edu.

Student Engagement Updates

P.U.B. Monthly Events

The updated P.U.B. has become a campus center for student organizations and activities. Student Life and Sodexo worked together to createPerformance in the P.U.B.P.U.B. Monthly events that take place once per month in Charlie’s P.U.B. These events include live musicians, trivia and even line dancing.

  • January: Musician Nelly's Echo performed and provided a nacho bar.
  • February: Kahoot Trivia Night with lots of different trivia themes including sports, Disney and general knowledge.
  • March: Line Dancing Night where students could come and learn line dances.
  • Coming in April: The Office of Student Life will partner with the Student Activities Committee to bring in another musician and host crafts to de-stress before finals week.

Student Support Resources

First-Year Spring Progress Meetings

The Office of Student Success and Persistence is now scheduling meetings with first-year students to review their spring progress checklist. During this brief meeting, success coaches will review important milestones for success as students finish the term and prepare for sophomore year, including FAFSA submission, housing arrangements, registration plans and more.Student success coach meeting with students

When a student completes this meeting, they will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card to the Kohawk Shop. Please encourage your students to sign up for a meeting with their success coach.

TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO Student Support Services at Coe College provides academic support, financial literacy, career planning and more to 216 students who are first-generation, income-eligible or have a documented disability and demonstrate academic need. For the 2024-25 year, we awarded $67,350 in grant aid to participants. Applications to join TRIO SSS are available at www.coe.edu/trio-sss.

Set Your Student Up for Success: Encourage a visit to C3 before summer!

Please encourage your child to visit C3: Creativity, Careers, Community before the Spring term comes to an end. The advice and support they will receive can be an invaluable step toward their future success. C3 offers individualized support tailored to your student's specific major and career interests.

Whether it's refining a resume, practicing forStudents in C3 interviews, or exploring job opportunities, our career specialists provide personalized guidance to help students navigate their unique career paths. By taking advantage of these resources, students can build a strong foundation for their future and gain the confidence to succeed after graduation. Students can visit C3 at any time in McCabe Hall or make an appointment through Handshake, Coe's job platform.

Health & Wellness

Coe counseling services continue to be available for appointments Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Students can request an appointment with one of our mental health counselors on campus or seek information for a referral off-campus, by using this request link.Students petting a therapy dog

Coe offers wellness classes weekly for all students at no cost. All are welcome to attend. Even if you've never been or haven't been in a while, encourage your student to come check out classes! For a complete list of wellness classes, click here. Spring schedule coming soon!
