C3: Creativity, Careers, Community
C3 expands Coe's alumni connections to assist students with planning and carrying out projects, forming professional networks and putting their Coe experiences to work in the wider world.
Volunteer opportunities
Please use the "Volunteer Form" button on the left in order to let us know where your interests lie.
Alumni speaker
Are you interested in sharing your career story? Do you, or does your company, have a specialty you think would help our students in their career journey? Join our repository of Coe Alumni willing to speak with current students about any career-related topics. (Either in the classroom, with student organizations, or at events.) We will provide faculty and student groups this repository once a year, in the fall. We will contact alumni as needed.
Competition mentors and judges
Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and proven entrepreneurial success? Sign up and be part of the annual Kohawk Startup innovation event where students pitch ideas, form teams, work with professional mentors on customer discovery and research, then "sell" their business plan to a panel of judges! Participants will be designated as either mentors or judges as needed based on student participation.
INT100 speaker
Are you willing to participate in a class? Share your expertise? Join a repository of Coe Alumni willing to speak at C3's Professionalism and Self-Presentation class. This 0.2 credit class is presented by C3 and meets each Spring semester. Topics can include: LinkedIn and how to use, Resumes, Interviewing tips and skills, Networking - how to network and why it's important, Workplace expectations and Boundary setting. Speakers are not guaranteed and will be contacted based on class participation and needs.

What this means is that you can broadcast your recruiting needs to a larger audience. Use the link to create an employer profile and once approved, you may post your company's jobs and internships.
Alumni recruiting policy
Want to hire a Kohawk? Use your Handshake profile to post your job. C3 will communicate with students and faculty through Handshake using targeted outreach to certain majors, school year, and/or year of graduation. Check out the C3 & Alumni Engagement Recruiting Request guide to hiring a Kohawk.
