In addition to a traditional interview, Sophie had to analyze a mock case and present a PowerPoint to the director before being hired as a paid intern. Her daily experience with the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission helped her obtain a position with the city of Omaha Human Rights and Relations Department immediately after graduation. She now works for the State of Nebraska as an equal opportunity investigator.
