Coe College Traditions

The Victory Bell

Students ring the Victory Bell during their orientation as first-year students and again before they cross the stage at graduation, marking the beginning and culmination of their academic journey.

Late Night Breakfast

On the night before finals kick off the Kohawk community gathers together in the “U” for a fun, late-night meal complete with pancakes, eggs and other breakfast favorites served up by the faculty and staff.

Homecoming

Homecoming brings together students, alumni and the community in a celebration of school spirit, featuring Kohawk Rock, a thrilling football game and the chance for Kohawks to connect, celebrate and reminisce.

Flunk Day

Held in the spring, Flunk Day is a surprise day off from classes for students to recharge with a day of fun activities, games and socializing across campus.
