Psychology Instructors 

The Psychology Department is seeking two per course instructors to teach courses that support the Psychology major at Coe College. These are excellent opportunities for graduate students interested in pursuing careers at teaching-focused institutions.

Per Course Instructor of Introductory Psychology

The successful candidate will teach one section of Introductory Psychology in Fall 2024, scheduled for MWF 2:00 - 2:50 pm, with the opportunity to teach another section of Introductory Psychology in Spring 2025. The schedule for spring is not yet locked in, so we can offer more flexibility in offering the course on days/times that are convenient for the instructor we hire. 

Course description:

PSY-100 Introductory Psychology: Introduces students to the basic concepts, theories, and methods in the study of behavior and mental processes. Provides a basic understanding of psychology for interested students, who may take this as their only course in psychology, as well as for future majors.
