Are you interested in being active and healthy during your time at Coe? 

Many options are available for you to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors. Cedar Lake Trail is a scenic pathway that is within walking distance from Coe College. It is a 1.6 mile paved loop that welcomes joggers, cyclists and walkers.
 

A portion of the Cedar Lake Trail also connects with the Cedar River Trail.  This trail can connect you to various parts of the city on the north side and New Bo, museums and Czech Village on the south side of Cedar Rapids.  The Cedar River Trail is a 13 mile paved trail.

Cedar Rapids has a bike and scooter share program available for students wanting to experience these trails. Bikes and scooters are electric assist and can be found in convenient locations across campus. Look for the green bike locks by Clark Racquet Center, between Stuart/Peterson Hall and on the quad. For information on how to rent scooters and bikes, please visit the following website:

Students interested in venturing outside the city to run, walk or cycle can find information about surrounding trails from the  Linn County Trail Association:
