Room Changes
Room changes only occur at the beginning of each semester. The process is as follows:

Starting the first day of fall/spring classes, there is a room freeze for two weeks. This allows Residence Life to understand which students have checked into the buildings.

After those two weeks, students are welcome to join the new room waitlist. The waitlist can be access via Symplicity. The waitlist will remain open for two weeks and then end, at which point only emergency moves will be considered for the rest of the semester. This is only on an as-needed basis. (Example: extreme roommate conflict, previous request of a single, etc.) This is NOT a two-week period to just move. Any unauthorized moves will result in a $75.00 improper checkout fee and the resident will return to their correct assignment.
