Room Changes

Room changes only occur at the beginning of each semester. The process is as follows:

  1. Starting the first day of fall/spring classes, there is a room freeze for two weeks. This allows Residence Life to understand which students have checked into the buildings.

  2. After those two weeks, students are allowed to move only if needed. This is only on an AS-NEEDED basis. (Example: extreme roommate conflict, previous request of a single, etc.) This is NOT a two-week period to just move. Any unauthorized moves will result in a $75.00 improper checkout fee and the resident will return to their correct assignment.
