Library Spaces & Reservations
There are many spaces in the library available for use by students, staff and faculty. These can be used for formal training and learning or study and contemplation.
Group Study and Conference Rooms:
- Conference room - lower level (can be reserved)
- Conference room - main level (can be reserved)
- Sanders Room - main level (can be reserved)
- Engle Room - 2nd level (can be reserved)
- Small group study rooms (6 total) - basement, main level, and 2nd level (including the Bodey Room and Eaton Room on the 2nd level) (these spaces are first come first served)

- Richter Room
Located on the main level, the Richter Room has a large conference table that will seat 12 with plenty of space for extra chairs. - Engle Room
The Engle room is located on the second level, it will seat up to 6 around the small conference table. - Perrine Gallery
Located on the second floor, the Perrine Gallery is a lovely open space that can be set up for many different occasions; receptions, dinners, lectures, displays. - Sanders Room
Located on the main level in the Pochobradsky Reading Room, seats 12, technology available. - Conference Room
Located on the main level, seats 10, technology available. - Conference Room
Located on the lower level, seats 10, technology available. - Computer Lab
Located on the lower level, seats 22. - Presentation Wall
Located on the lower level, open air classroom, 20 soft seats, technology available including 90" monitor. - Individual Study carrels
Located on second & third floors. These areas are great for use with extended research projects. Contact Sandy Blanchard (319.399.8595, sblancha@coe.edu) to reserve. - Classroom
Located on the main level, the library classroom is completely equipped as a "smart" classroom and has desks that can easily be organized into various configurations. Will comfortably seat 20. - Media Technologies
