The George T. Henry College Archives include a reading room and a climate-controlled vault located on the lower level of Stewart Memorial Library.
The Archives house and preserve the institutional records of Coe College. Principal donors have been administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Our larger alumni collections include the photographs of college photographer George T. Henry '49 whose work is a pictorial history of the college since 1948. The papers of world renowned journalist, broadcaster, and author William L. Shirer '25, and Iowa poet and co-founder of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, Paul Engle '31.
The archives encourages the use of its collections in the classroom and in academic research. Collection are open to students, staff, alumni, researchers, and the public during open hours and by appointment.
In the basement of Stewart Memorial Library, take a left at the bottom of the main staircase. It is located across from AV theater.

Fisher Music Library
Fisher Music Library, located on the first floor of Marquis Hall, contains reference sources, books, journals, scores, librettos, and recordings which support the music department's curriculum and the Coe community.
Fisher materials are searchable from the library's catalog. Additional music research materials and older volumes of journals are located in Stewart Memorial Library.
Items on Fisher Reserve are for use in the library on the listening stations available there. The library contains music listening stations for all sound media formats contained in the collection. There are also two computer music work stations with keyboards.
The Media Technologies Department (formerly known as Audiovisual or AV), located in the lower level of Stewart Memorial Library, provides classroom technical support, equipment loans, and serves the various multimedia needs of the Coe College Community.
In addition to the services it provides, the Media Technologies Department houses a collection of over 6,000 items including DVDs, VHS, and LPs available for checkout. The department also has equipment, such as digital camcorders, available for checkout for class-related purposes.
The Media Technologies Department manages the following facilities on campus: the Audiovisual Theater, Audiovisual Preview Room, Kesler Lecture Hall, and the Coe television studio.

Technical Services maintains and manages the libraries operating systems as well as cataloging and serials.
