Favorite Coe Memory:
There are many, so no favorite per se. One humorous one I will share is that I was the Resident Director in Murray Hall for the summer of 1974. Coe rented out some of the floors, for a week, to the Cheerleaders Association of America. So for a full week, we had cheering for hours, hours, hours in the dorm, on the quad, in the union...you get the picture. For my "patience" I was given an engraved,You are my friend, award plaque with my name! I believe this is known as taking one for the Coe Team.
What helped you decide to serve Coe by being an Alumni Council member?
I have been volunteering in many capacities for many organizations over the years. My Coe years were very formative for me and, being retired, my calendar has allowed me to do the same for Coe.
