The Nursing Department subscribes to the mission of Coe College, which is to provide students an education of superior quality that aims to prepare them for life after graduation. The Nursing Department is positioned within an environment that respects the individual, fosters diversity, promotes community, cultivates lifelong learning and makes excellence an imperative. The Nursing Department endeavors to prepare competent, compassionate health care professionals, distinguished by liberal arts education, evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, safe patient care and commitment to professionalism. Our BSN graduates will complete an educational program that prepares them to practice professional nursing in the complex and global society of the 21st century.
