Curriculum & Four-Year Plan
Your Aviation Path at Coe
Professional Pilot Track
Begin flight training your first term and progress toward pilot certifications and ratings while completing your business degree. This path prepares students for careers as airline, corporate or cargo pilots. Students typically complete 3-4 flight sessions per week; schedules integrate with the business courses and class schedules.
We encourage flight operations students to continue flight training over the summer months when possible to help maintain proficiency and stay on pace with their training progression.
Aviation Management Track
You can complete the aviation management concentration without flight operations courses, preparing for careers in aviation operations, airline management, aviation safety and related fields.
Four-Year Plan
The following shows the aviation-related coursework for those pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in aviation management & flight operations or with a concentration in aviation management. Note that students typically take at least four course credits per semester for a total of eight each year.
