Dr. Tracy Thomas, Forensic Psychologist
Join us for a discussion with Dr. Tracy Thomas who will talk about her path to becoming a forensic psychologist, as well as her experiences in the field in Iowa working with offenders, serving as an expert witness in legal proceedings, and in her own consulting practice.
Dr. Thomas is a forensic psychologist practicing out of Ames, Iowa. Dr. Thomas received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from West Virginia University. She has worked in a variety of forensic settings and currently maintains a full-time private practice providing forensic psychological evaluation and consultation. She carries out forensic evaluations in various criminal and civil matters, such as those related to criminal competencies, sanity, diminished responsibility, personal injury, and sexual offenders. She also provides consultative services on a variety of issues of relevance to attorneys, such as psychological testing, victim or perpetrator behavior, and diagnosis.
