Successful Alumni


Ultimately, the performance of our graduates on the Board of Certification (BOC) examination and job placement indicates programmatic success.

Since 2004, 50% of our graduates have passed all three sections of the BOC examination on their first attempt. The national average for passing all three sections of the BOC examination on the first attempt ranges between 30-35% annually.
 
Graduates have found immediate employment as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) in sports medicine clinics and high schools.
 
Many of our recent graduates have gone on to pursue advanced degrees while serving as a graduate assistant in athletic training (GA-ATC) at several colleges & universities including: Arizona School of Health Science, Florida, Indiana State, Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois State, Louisville, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Virginia.
 
Finally, various graduates have chosen to pursue advanced degrees in healthcare professional program such as: Physical Therapy Doctoral Programs at the University of Iowa, St. Ambrose University and Washington University; the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska-Omaha; and Palmer College of Chiropractic.
