Chad Libby teaches courses in the areas of clinical evaluation of the upper extremity, therapeutic exercise, clinical athletic training and athletic training administration. As Program Director, he is responsible for the overall administration of the Athletic Training Education Program which includes: recruitment and training of clinical instructors, student recruitment and retention, coordination of clinical experiences and academic advising.
In addition to these responsibilities, Libby serves as the chair of College and University Athletic Trainers Committee for the Iowa Athletic Trainers Society and as the faculty advisor for the Sports Healthcare Organization (SpHcO) at Coe. He has additional membership with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Prior to becoming the Program Director of Athletic Training Education , Libby served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Coe for six years.
Shaun McCarthy, MA, LAT, ATC

Shaun McCarthy teaches courses in the areas of prevention & care of injury, clinical evaluation of the lower extremity, clinical athletic training, and kinesiology. As Senior Athletic Trainer, he is responsible for coordinating with other athletic training staff health care coverage for Coe's 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams.
In addition to these responsibilities he directly supervises athletic training students during cross country, men's and women's tennis, golf, and swimming clinical experiences.
McCarthy serves on the National Athletic Trainers Association Convention Program Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Certification's Committee for Development of 6th Role Delineation Study and of the Governor Appointed Iowa Board of Athletic Training.
In 2006, McCarthy was inducted into the Iowa Athletic Trainer's Society Hall of Honor and in 2009 he received the Iowa Athletic Trainer's Society's Volunteer of the Year Award.

Medical Director - Coe College Athletic Training Education Program
Dr. Arnold serves a medical director for the Athletic Training Education Program at Coe College. Dr. Arnold is the medical director of St Luke's Hospitalist program in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
David Hart, MD
Orthopedic Surgeon - Physician Clinic of Iowa
Dr. Hart is employed at Physicians Clinic of Iowa and serves as the orthopedic surgeon for Coe student- athletes. Dr. Hart is a frequent guest lecturer for the educational lecture series.

Lynn Groth is responsible for supervising athletic training students during clinical rotations at Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School.
