Wash U 3+3

Pathway Information

In May 2026, Coe College joined a select group of affiliated colleges partnering with the Engineering Dual Degree Program at the McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis. The program is a streamlined pathway to earning both bachelor’s and master's degrees in engineering, all designed to be completed within three years.

Program graduates are "liberally educated engineers," with strong communication and problem-solving skills, a broad background in the humanities and social sciences, and a high-quality technical education.

Requirements

Before transferring to WashU, students at Coe must complete a minimum of 22.5 course credits (90 course hours) covering general education and major-specific requirements for undergraduate engineering study (courses with grades below C do not transfer).

All admitted students receive the Graduate Affiliation Scholarship, which guarantees a 50 percent tuition discount for all three academic years. This scholarship is available to both domestic and international students.
