Dr. W. Kent Herron Celebration of Life
Join us in honoring the extraordinary life and legacy of Kent “Doc” Herron, a beloved member of the Coe College community who touched countless lives as a mentor, educator and friend. This special gathering will offer an opportunity to reflect on Doc’s enduring impact through shared stories, meaningful tributes and cherished memories.
The celebration will include a campus-wide event on Saturday, February 1, 2025, featuring a formal program in Sinclair Auditorium, followed by a reception in Stewart Memorial Library for a chance to connect with those who knew and loved Doc. The Archives will also be open to showcase moments from Doc’s time at Coe.To continue the memories, please come to an additional gathering at the Olympic South Side Theater at 6 PM.
Please join us as we come together to celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will forever be a part of Coe College.

Time: 2:30 PM* (Sinclair Lobby will open at 1:30 PM, Sinclair Auditorium doors open at 2:00 PM)
RSVPs are encouraged to aid in the planning process and for future communications regarding the event. RSVP here
*Immediately following the program in Sinclair, the celebration will move to Stewart Memorial Library, with reflections starting at approximately 4:00 PM.
