Nutrition - Kinesiology
Why earn a Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology with a concentration in nutrition at Coe?
Become a nutritionist equipped to help people live healthier by undertaking an integrated specialization with a distinct academic major.
You gain a distinct academic major in kinesiology that combines Coe’s strong science foundation with modern, specialized training in nutritional science. Under the guidance of distinguished working professionals, you’ll enhance your skillset with an education in modern food science, lifecycle health and local food systems. You’ll gain foundational experience, adaptable skills and applicable coursework with hands-on lab work or interdisciplinary internships to feel prepared to continue your journey onto graduate school or into the workplace.
The nutrition concentration is offered in a hybrid format in partnership with Rize Education. You will take up to six courses online, with remaining coursework in the core curriculum completed in person on campus. The hybrid model combines a robust campus life and in-person learning experience with the flexibility of some online learning.
Rize will allow Coe to tap into industry expertise and curriculum designed specifically for workforce preparation. Rize courses are taught by a partner institution within a learning consortium. This partnership offers students cutting-edge curriculum, greater scheduling flexibility and access to nationwide experts in the field.
