 A 250th Birthday Commemoration

December 17, 2020 marked the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth. This musical "Giant" and his innovations in nearly all genres of music (except Opera) have influenced countless composers who came after him and secured his revered place in history.

This year's concerts focus on the piano music of Beethoven. Friday's concert features the Coe Keyboard Faculty performing movements of several piano sonatas which span over the course of his life. Saturday's concert features Coe keyboard students with sonata movements and other types of works. We hope you can join us "virtually" for this birthday celebration!
