Coe is pleased to welcome Michelle Kuo to campus. Michelle is the author of "Reading With Patrick: A Teacher, A Student, and A Life Changing Friendship", which is the 2018 Building Community Read for the University of Iowa College of Education. We're offering a variety of ways to interact with the author while she is on campus.

We have fifteen copies of "Reading with Patrick" available to the first faculty who come over to the Provost's office to pick one up.

On October 30, her schedule includes:

  • 11:30-1:00 PM: Informal Carry Tray Book Discussion (Room C, Gage Memorial Union)
  • 2:00-3:20 PM: Presentation "Inequality, Race, and What We Owe Each Other" (Kesler Auditorium, Hickok Hall)
  • 4:00-5:00 PM: Reception (Lynch Room, Gage Memorial Union)
