The Lady from the Sea is about a woman in 19th century Norway, living a safe and secure life with a loving family, who is haunted by the memory of more exciting times. When a stranger tempts her with the chance to return to those times, she is faced with an impossible choice – fulfilling her deepest desires or remaining within the safety of her comfortable home – or is there a third way? By the author of A Doll House.
