Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

Coe College invites applications from dynamic, student-centered individuals for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Primary responsibilities of this position include teaching a variety of introductory and upper-level
courses with a course load of 3:3.

The candidate must be prepared to teach courses in Spanish at all levels, including beginning and intermediate language instruction as well as Spanish for specific purposes (medical Spanish) and the option to teach additional courses in the candidate’s area of interest that will contribute to the program at Coe College. Special attention will be given to candidates with a specialization in US Latinx literature and culture. ABD in Spanish will be considered although Ph.D. preferred.
