Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Studies

Coe College seeks qualified applicants for a benefit eligible Visiting Assistant Professor position in Communication Studies for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The successful applicant will teach three courses per term, beginning August 2019.

During the fall term, the successful applicant will be asked to teach two sections of "Introduction to Media Analysis" and one section of "Visual Rhetoric." In the spring, the applicant will be asked to teach two sections of "Fundamentals of Public Speaking" and one section of "Sex, Race, & Gender in the Media." Qualifications:

M.A. Communication Studies, Media Studies, or a related field; Ph.D. or ABD preferred. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to teach the aforementioned courses. Candidates who can provide evidence of successful teaching and an interest in mentoring undergraduate students will be strongly preferred.
