Coe College seeks a student-centered professional for the role of Residence Life Area Coordinator.
The Area Coordinator is a full-time live-in professional staff member in Residence Life. The Area Coordinator is responsible for creating an active and engaged atmosphere in the area of campus they oversee. Though the Area Coordinators are responsible for multiple residential areas of campus, they assume a joint responsibility for the administration and quality of the Residence Life program. The Area Coordinator also serves as a front-line responder in campus emergency situations and will be required to work daytime, on call, and non-traditional hours. As a front-line member of the Residence Life staff, the Area Coordinator is expected to spend the time necessary to build strong relationships with students in order to provide them with the best experience possible.
This is a full-time, 12 month position.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Education or experience in housing, residence life, or student life preferred.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet/database and word processing.
- Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
