The Biology Department at Coe College is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The successful candidate will teach two laboratory sections and assist with grading homework, lab reports and exams for our General Botany course in the fall 2019 term. This is a sophomore level course required for the biology major. An in-house lab manual is used for the laboratory. Attending weekly prep sessions and interacting with students during regular weekly office hours will also be required.
Candidates for the position must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching at the college level and a willingness to engage students; and experience teaching botany. A master’s degree in biology or a related discipline is required.
