Mail and Print Assistant

Coe College seeks qualified applicants for the part-time position of Mail & Print Assistant.

The Mail & Print Assistant will assist the Mail and Print Media Specialist with the daily operational tasks in the mail and print center of the College and will provide excellent service to all customers of the mail and print center. The Mail and Print Center supports printing for faculty, staff, students and departmental needs across the entire campus on a daily basis.

Primary responsibilities include: distributing mail from USPS and private couriers, processing mail pick-up and delivery and preparing outgoing mail. This position also assists with the production of all print-related materials produced by the Coe College Print Production Center and through the Office of Marketing’s work with outside print vendors.

Schedule Needs:  This is a 10-month, part-time position during the academic year, generally working approximately 10-15 hours per week.  During peak usage and for office coverage, the ability to work up to 40 hours is necessary, which is typically August, April, November and January.


  • High School Diploma required.
  • Working computer proficiency and ability to learn U.S. Postal regulations required. 
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) experience preferred.
  • Six months of experience in a mail room setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, bend down to retrieve items and raise arms to distribute mail.
  • Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
