Part-Time English Instructor

The English Department seeks a part-time instructor for Fall 2023 with the possibility of Spring 2024 courses depending on departmental needs. The successful candidate will be available to teach one or two of the following courses:

ENG 291: Literatures in English after 1800
- meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-4:50 p.m.
ENG 357: Studies in Latinx and Chicanx Literature
- meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 1-1:50 p.m.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have experience and success teaching literature courses, especially Latinx and/or Chicanx literatures at an advanced level. MA in English or a related field and some experience teaching literature required, Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred.
