Instructor for Computer Science/Data Science

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Coe College invites applications for per-course instructor positions to teach introductory Computer Science or Data Science courses during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Responsibilities include teaching one or two sections of introductory courses and/or labs such as CS125: Introduction to Programming (Python), or DS100: Introduction to Data Science. Opportunities to teach special topics or advanced coursework in an area of your specialization may also be considered. 

Faculty at Coe College are known for being highly accessible to students. In additional to teaching responsibilities, applicants will be expected to be able to hold regular office hours and be responsive to student email questions.   

Qualifications

A Master's in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
