Assistant Professor of Psychology 

Coe College seeks qualified applicants for a full-time tenure-track appointment in Psychology. The successful candidate will have a specialization in behavioral or cognitive neuroscience. Faculty teach a 3:3 load, and courses taught will include Drugs & Behavior, Biopsychology, an upper-level Neuroscience course (e.g., Behavioral Neuroscience), and may include Statistics, Health Psychology with Laboratory, and a first year and/or upper-level seminar course in an area of interest to the candidate. The successful candidate will significantly contribute to the Neuroscience program. The Department strongly values a commitment to a student-centered perspective and an inclusive approach to teaching and research. Doctoral degree required by start date; candidates who can provide evidence of successful teaching, an active program of research adaptable to student-faculty collaboration, and who have a background in Psychology will be preferred. Candidates from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.

Coe’s Psychology Department includes 7 full-time faculty and is an integral part of the college’s interdisciplinary Organizational Science and Neuroscience programs. The Department has a strong commitment to provide intensive, hands-on research experiences and internship placements for its students.
