Accounting Faculty - Full and Part-Time

Coe College seeks qualified applicants for a one-year part-time lecturer position or a one-year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of accounting position beginning Fall 2022.

A successful lecturer candidate will teach no more than four classes per year, while a successful Visiting Assistant Professor candidate will teach six courses per year, (normally, three accounting courses per term) with class sizes ranging from 10 to 25 students.

Department Information

The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Coe is the largest department on campus, consisting of 12 full-time faculty from diverse backgrounds. The department offers six majors, including public accounting, managerial accounting, business administration, economics, international business, and international economics.  The accounting program at Coe has been growing in recent years and has been very successful in preparing and inspiring students for their careers after graduation. The College’s new Center for Creativity, Careers and Community works with the Department in offering support for accounting students seeking internships and jobs.

Education Requirements

Candidates are required to have at least a Masters of Accountancy, M.B.A, or masters in a related field.  Related work experience and/or college teaching experience will also be valued.
