Assistant Professor of Economics

Coe College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning Fall 2019.

Only completed Ph.D. in Economics or ABD with expectation to finish by August 2019 should apply.

The ideal candidate will possess effective teaching skills, interest and ability to embrace Coe’s student-centered approach to education in a liberal arts environment, interest and ability to supervise undergraduate research, and an active research agenda.

We seek a candidate who can teach at the principles and upper division levels in Microeconomics. The candidate should expect to teach Principles and Intermediate Microeconomics, as well as upper level courses, with preference for Health, Game Theory, International, and applied courses in their expertise.
