Senior Admission Counselor & Transfer Coordinator
What I look for in a student: I look for a student who is motivated and willing to accept the challenges college life will undoubtedly present. Coe offers a wealth of opportunities to students academically, socially and professionally, and I like to see students who show a genuine excitement and interest in getting the most out of their college years.
What I love about my job: As a Coe alumnus, I’m proud to continue playing a role in the college's growth and development. Also, I understand that finding the right college can be a scary task for students and I love that my job offers me an opportunity to help them through this critical process.
My hobbies: I'm a big sports fan, especially when it comes to baseball. I also enjoy fishing, cycling and being outdoors in general.
Favorite music: I listen to a little bit of everything, but more often than not, it's country.
Favorite Coe memory: Diving into the dog pile after winning the Iowa Conference championship my senior year of baseball at Coe.
Favorite Coe tradition: The Victory Bell and the Dougie Peters send-off!
Favorite place on Coe's campus: Eby Fieldhouse
Favorite professional sports team: I'm just a fan of Major League Baseball overall.
Favorite quote: "The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." - Abraham Lincoln
What is your dream job? I think I would really enjoy being a sports writer that covered baseball like Buster Olney.
Fun fact: I hate basically all condiments, but especially ketchup.
