I chose Coe because of the great experience I had during Scholars Weekend.
What is the best part of being a Kohawk?
The best part of being a Kohawk is all the support at the athletic events and being the loudest person in the stands. I also love entertaining Kohawks with the radio station that my roommate, one of our floor mates and I host.
Describe your favorite interaction with a professor.
My favorite interaction with a professor would have to be when I first met Lisa Barnett. She has the exact same name as my mother so it was funny to see her and explain to her why it would be weird for me to call her by her first name.
What advice would you give to a prospective student considering Coe?
I would tell a prospective student that no matter how good of a student they were in high school, it no longer matters when coming to college. It takes a couple extra steps to be your best which is why it is so important to take your studies seriously. However, don't let the homework consume you. Enjoy the free time and cherish the moments because it all moves fast.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I will either go to a sporting event or find something to do with my roommates.
What is it like living in Cedar Rapids?

The nickname given to me by my floor mates is PP.

The best part of being a first-year student is the excitement of experiencing new things at Coe.
If you could bring one thing from your hometown to Coe what would it be?
If I could bring one thing from Chicago, it would be a giant panorama of the skyline.
How would your friends describe your personality?
Most people describe me as outgoing because I am willing to introduce myself to anyone on campus without feeling embarrassed. Everyone describes me as being loud because of the shouting they hear at sporting events.
