The Coe College Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Michelle Perrin Blair, will perform their season finale concert "High Drama" on Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. The event is open to the public at no charge.

The program will feature the first place winner of the 2018 Coe College Symphony Orchestra (CCSO) Solo Competition, sophomore Andrew Acosta. Andrew is a viola performance major, studying with Dr. Michael Kimber, and he will be performing the vibrant and soaring "Viola Concerto in G minor" (first movement) by Cecil Forsyth, with the CCSO. Also featured in this program are some audience favorites from the 19th-century opera repertoire, including Verdi's "Nabucco" and Bizet's "Carmen."
