"I Dreamed the Last Diamond Darter" to be staged at Coe

The Coe College Department of Theatre Arts will present a contemporary drama centered on an impending environmental disaster in "I Dreamed the Last Diamond Darter" Feb. 5-7 and 11-13 in Dows Theatre. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the Sunday, Feb. 7 show, which starts at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors. They can be purchased online at coe.edu/boxoffice, at the door, or by calling the Coe College Box Office at 399-8600, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"I Dreamed the Last Diamond Darter" was written by accomplished Iowa playwright Lisa Schlesinger, whose works have been produced throughout the U.S. and the world. Featuring an all-student cast, the Coe production is directed by Coe Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Dennis Barnett.
A girl and a fish. A fork of the river. An impending environmental disaster. What happens when something or someone is about to disappear? Forever?
