A Coe College faculty and friends chamber recital will be held in Daehler-Kitchin Auditorium of Marquis Hall on Sunday, March 29, beginning at 2 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Coe faculty Marita Wolgast (piano), Beth Hoffman (violin) and Amy Phelps (cello) join with guest artists to present an original selection of chamber works ranging from Astor Piazzolla's tangos for piano trio, "Spring" and "Oblivion," to Robert Schumann's celebrated "Piano Quartet in E flat Major." A rarely performed septet by Camille Saint-Saens will feature solo trumpet, piano and a string quartet. Several guest artists will also perform.
