The Coe College Concert Choir will present a program entitled "Life's Journey," a musical exploration of humanity's time on earth and beyond. The concert will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of Coe Music Professor Dr. Marc Falk, the choir will present music about birth, childhood, love, marriage, having kids, growing old, dying, and what might happen after that. Featuring a mix of music from the Baroque era to Bobby McFerrin, this short concert will include works by Bernstein, Schütz, Haydn, Sweet Honey in the Rock, WIllliam Billings, Iowa’s own Peter Schickele, and many others.
