What I look for in a student: I look for a student who is excited about the transition to college and puts forth their best effort in everything they do.  I love working with students who are enthusiastic about learning, willing to try new things and looking to embrace all that Coe has to offer in and out of the classroom.

What I love about my job: I like being able to connect with different types of students, helping them with their college search and having the opportunity to show them everything Coe has to offer. I also enjoy working in a community where people truly care about each other and Coe College.

Favorite Place on Coe’s Campus: Dows Fine Arts Center.  I love the sense of creativity and openness in the building. Plus, it’s full of all different kinds of art, which I love!

My hobbies: Ceramics, playing tennis, working out, spending time with my friends and family, shopping, visiting new places and going to art museums and galleries.

Music: I can listen to and appreciate almost anything, but I absolutely LOVE Country music!

TV: Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, How I Met Your Mother and The Bachelor/Bachelorette

Favorite Coe Memory: The opening reception of my Senior Thesis Exhibition in ceramics in the Spring of 2011. It was a very rewarding experience to see the hard work I had put in during my four years at Coe come together in one place with my family, friends and the Coe Community present.

Favorite Coe Tradition: Flunk Day

Favorite Professional Sports Team: Cubs, Bears and Bulls
