What I look for in a student: I look for students who are excited about taking on new challenges and stepping outside their comfort zones. I look for a student who is eager to become a life-long learner.
What I love about my job: I enjoy getting to interact with new people on a daily basis. No two students or families are alike and I love getting to work with a wide range of people. I also enjoy being able to combine my love of travel and my love of Coe College, while in the process helping students make the college decision that is the right fit for them.
My interests: Traveling, cooking, shopping, reading, running, spending time with my family and friends.
Music: I love every kind of music, but my favorite artists are Michael Buble, John Legend and Usher.
Books: 100 Years of Solitude, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Beloved, Cookbooks
TV: My all-time favorite show is Friends, but I also enjoy Mystery Diagnosis and anything on the Food Network and Travel Channel.
Movies: Crash, Volver, It's a Wonderful Life
Favorite Coe Memory: My favorite Coe memory is meeting up in Alicante, Spain with the May Term class during my semester abroad and being able to confidently speak Spanish.
Favorite Coe Tradition: Homecoming and Flunk Day
Trips I’ve made with Coe: Two Spring break service trips to New Orleans, Chicago trip with the Academic Achievement Program, Washington D.C. term and Semester in Castellón, Spain
Time killer: Catching up on the phone with my mom, taking walks with no particular destination in mind, and baking
My sport/professional team: Kohawks, Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets and my nephew's little league basketball, football and soccer teams.
