What activities are you involved in?
Children of Promise and Residence Life

Why did you decide to attend Coe?
I chose Coe because I wanted to go somewhere I had never been. Iowa was definitely not on my list of places to visit and that's exactly why I chose it.

What is the best part of being a Kohawk?
The best part about being a Kohwak is having the support of every other student in Kohawk Nation.

What do you remember most from your first year?
My most memorable moment as a first year would be going to the shows in the PUB. I was there every week!

Describe your favorite interaction with a professor.
My favorite interaction with a professor is hard to describe because all my professors are phenomenal. One of my many favorites is when I had class three times a week with Dr. Leonardo. He always made me feel like he was giving the lecture to me, not a classroom full of students. I grasped the material better and did much better with the personal attention in the class than I would have without the same attention.

What advice would you give to a prospective student considering Coe?
Be open minded. Being decisive is a great thing, but don't put your "blinders" on.  Be open to new opportunities that come your way.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I’m currently learning sign language through music.

What is it like living in Cedar Rapids?
My favorite thing about living in Cedar Rapids is the location of Coe. I grew up in suburbia and I love having the chance to go one direction to be in a city and then going in the opposite direction to be in more suburbia.

What is the best part of being a sophomore?
The best part about being a sophomore is realizing how comfortable college feels now. When I was a first year, it all seemed kind of new. Every day, every minute was new. Now it feels familiar and that's nice.

If you could bring one thing from your hometown to Coe what would it be?
I would bring the go kart track from the Coachella Valley to here. I love go karts!

How would your friends describe your personality?
My friends would describe me as resourceful, responsible and quirky!
