Why did you decide to attend Coe?
Initially during my college search, I never in a million years thought I would attend a small school. But when I came to visit, Coe was perfect. I felt so welcomed by everyone I met and loved my tour of the campus. It is a beautiful place and had everything I was looking for. And the nursing program can't be beat!
What does Coe mean to you?
Coe is the best decision I could have made. Coe is my home, and I have met some of my very best friends while here. I don't want to graduate; I'm not ready to leave! Once a Kohawk, always a Kohawk.
W
hat was your transition to Coe like?
I had a pretty smooth transition into Coe. I was excited for all the new opportunities ahead and volleyball kept me very busy. I made some of my best friends living in Armstrong Hall my first year and still live with some of those girls my senior year! Classes were exciting and professors are great!
What do you do for fun on the weekends?
During the fall I usually travel with my volleyball team to different tournaments, but after season I spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends. We hang out around campus and attend different events on campus such as magicians, musicians and talent shows that some of our different student organizations offer. We also attend a lot of basketball games and wrestling meets to support our fellow Kohawks!
Did you feel informed about the scholarship opportunities available at Coe? Yes, Coe was very helpful with scholarships. When I applied and got my acceptance letter, I immediately knew what college scholarships I was eligible for. There are constant emails being sent out about additional scholarships available for students of all ages and there are many other opportunities available to students.
