What I look for in a student: I expect my students to have a broad range of interests from ultimate Frisbee and biology to racquetball and Shakespeare. Having an adventurous and open mind will allow you to get the most out of your years at Coe.

What I like about my job: I love meeting new people which makes being an admission counselor an awesome adventure for me. I love to travel and am especially thankful to have the opportunity to work for my alma mater. Being able to recruit the next classes of students who make this college unique is a privilege.

Trips you've made with Coe: Gulf Shore Katrina Relief 06, May Term in Ireland '04

My hobbies: traveling, coffee shops, summertime baseball, Jim Carrey movies, Ireland, taking walks, riding my bike, eating delicious new foods and spending time with the Incredible Murphy Lee (My cat!!).

Favorite authors: Jodi Picoult, Dean Koontz and Shel Silverstein. I have had the fantastic opportunity to see many musicians in concert, but my very first concert was KISS in 1997.

Favorite Coe Tradition: Running of the Stairs

Cedar Rapids Favorites: Zoey's (Delicious Chicago Style Pizza in Iowa), St. Patty's Day Parade, Czech Village, Rec Volleyball, The Spring House (cheapest breakfast food in town)
