Application Process

Application Deadlines

Students applying for admission to Coe College should provide their application and required documentation by the following deadlines.  Only transfer students are eligible to apply for a spring term.

Fall Term Deadline: March 1st. Spring Term Deadline: October 1st.

Required Materials

To apply to Coe College, please follow the steps listed below. Contact us at admission@coe.edu with specific questions.

  1. Submit an International Application for Admission via the Common Application. No application fee required.
  2. Submit original or certified copies of the following:
    1. Secondary School Transcripts (mark sheets) translated into English with all courses/grades listed and an explanation of the grading system.
    2. National Examination results (e.g. 'O' level, HSC, SLC, WEAC, etc.)
    3. SAT or ACT result.
      • To have scores sent to Coe College, please use the following codes:
        TOEFL and SAT code number is 6101; ACT code number is 1294
    4. English language proficiency exam scores (for students whose first language is not English)
      • TOEFL, IELTS, STEP Eiken, or PTE Academic
  3. A letter of recommendation from a school official who can address your academic performance and potential.
  4. Complete an International Student Financial Statement and third party documentation of funds sufficient to cover your expenses at Coe.
  5. If you wish to transfer any non-United States university credits into Coe College, an official transcript evaluation by World Education Services (WES) is required. Apply for a Basic Course-by-Course Evaluation to be completed and sent to Coe College. More information can be found at www.wes.org.

Admission

Once all materials have been submitted, your application file will be held until the application deadline. Your file will then be reviewed for admission and scholarship consideration. All admission and scholarship decisions will be communicated to you before the decision deadline.

Admission Decision Deadline: April 1


Enrollment

Once formally admitted, letters will describe the conditions of acceptance, total costs of attendance and the deadline for submitting your enrollment deposit ($250.00 USD). The deposit reserves your place in the incoming class, as well as your room in a residence hall and is non-refundable. All enrollment deposits should be received before the enrollment deadline.
