     Title: Coe College Symphony Orchestra sets spring concert

The Coe College Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Joseph Dangerfield, will present a concert on Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. Featuring Coe student soloists and conductors as well as guest cellist Timothy Gill, the program is open to the public at no charge.



The Coe College Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Joseph Dangerfield, will present a concert on Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. Featuring Coe student soloists and conductors as well as guest cellist Timothy Gill, the program is open to the public at no charge.

The orchestra will perform "Tarantella" by Camille Saint-Seans, featuring student soloists Elise Burnham and Sarah Gierach, and student conductor David Rosales, followed by a string-only arrangement of "Carmen" by George Bizet, conducted by student conductor Shayla James. The concert will conclude with "The Concerto for Cello and Orchestra" by Antonin Dvorak, featuring guest cellist Timothy Gill, principal cellist of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta.
