     Title: Coe Concert Choir to present fall concert previewing upcoming tour

The Coe College Concert Choir will present a fall concert showcasing material that choir members will be performing on their January 2011 tour to Puerto Rico on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.



The Coe College Concert Choir will present a fall concert showcasing material that choir members will be performing on their January 2011 tour to Puerto Rico on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Coe Music Professor Marc Falk, the concert will feature music by Verdi and Monteverdi, student soloists and strings. Other portions of the concert will include a set of African-American spirituals, again featuring student soloists, a set of Latin American music from Venezuela and Argentina, and a selection of lullabies from around the world. Coe's Crimson and Gold a cappella choir will also perform a short set of gospel, pop and folk songs.
