What I look for in a student: I look for a student that is excited about the transition to college and who is full of energy, enthusiasm and hope. I want an individual who is ready to absorb the life and education that the unique Coe College experience brings, and a student that is ready to become more than what they are right now.
What I love about my job: I love the fact that I am able to meet new people on a daily basis. I find it exciting being able to work with high school students who are eager about the next step in their life, and I have the opportunity to point them in the right direction.
My hobbies: Sports are definitely my biggest hobby. I love to watch and play sports whenever I have the chance! I also enjoy hanging out with my husband and my son Landon, traveling, working out, the outdoors, health and fitness, shopping (Forever 21!!) and spending time with my friends and family.
Music: I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music, but Country and Hip-Hop are my ultimate favorites.
Books: I am more of a magazine kind of girl! Shape, Fitness, People and US Weekly are a few I enjoy. I do enjoy inspirational books too, especially anything written by Lysa Terkhurst.
TV: ESPN is a MUST and reality shows are where I get my television fix. Shows like Kloe and Lamar, Keeping up with the Kardashians, American Idol, The Bachelor and Biggest Loser.
Movie: I enjoy most types of movies. Anything Denzel Washington, 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth, Love and Basketball and Sweet Home Alabama are some of my favorites.
Favorite Coe Tradition: Flunk Day
My Sport/Professional team-sport: I have an extreme obsession with the North Carolina Tarheels! I enjoy the Boston Celtics, Chicago Cubs, Iowa football and of course the KOHAWKS.
