Why did you decide to attend Coe?
I came on a visit and instantly formed a relationship with everyone that I met because they were so upbeat and friendly. But the moment I officially decided to be a Kohawk was when I came back for a second visit and everyone remembered me and were truly excited for me to be back on campus.
What is the best part of being a Kohawk?
I love having a second family away from my real one and being part of such a happy community.
What do you remember most from your first year?
Flunk Day was definitely something I will never forget!
Describe your favorite interaction with a professor.
My first year, I had an assignment in which I was to interview a random professor on campus. I chose David Hayes, who I had never met before and after only a week of talking with him he invited me to his house to meet and interview his wife and daughters. He helped me go above and beyond what was expected.
What advice would you give to a prospective student considering Coe?
Get involved in anything and everything that interests you. Coe has so, so many great people involved in hundreds of different things so meet as many as you can!
What do you like to do in your free time?
If I'm not at soccer practice or running around to meetings, I love hanging out with my teammates, roommates and friends. They have truly become my sisters.
What was the best part of being a sophomore?
I liked being a sophomore because I was so excited to be reunited with all the friends I made my first year, but also to meet all the new first-year students and build even more great relationships.
If you could bring one thing from your hometown to Coe what would it be?
My puppy :) Or Jordan Creek Mall.
How would your friends describe your personality?
Outgoing and happy!
