Who Participates?
Anyone with a love for Coe College and its traditions is encouraged to support the College through the Coe Fund.
What am I supporting?
Funds raised through the Coe Fund have a direct impact on the everyday lives of students and are applied in a variety of ways. Coe Fund contributions are used to meet the College's needs - student programs, providing scholarship assistance, conducting critical building renovations, securing vital equipment for student use and maintaining the natural beauty of campus.
Why contribute?
The stronger the Coe Fund, the better equipped the College is to provide an excellent educational environment for students. By giving a gift to Coe through the Coe Fund, you will be supporting all areas of college operations: student programs, scholarships, faculty programs, equipment, curriculum, the library, technology, extracurricular activities, and facilities. The Coe Fund is a resource to help the College meet its most pressing needs every year. We depend on our alumni support year after year. Whether you give $10 or $100, you are helping Coe remain the strong and highly regarded institution it was when you attended. Your education at Coe was supported by gifts from others-and now you can return the favor.
What if I can only give a small amount?
Every single gift counts, no matter the size! When publications such as U.S. News & World Report determine a school's ranking, they look at the percentage of alumni, parents, and friends that participate in giving back to the school. Your participation is viewed as a measure of your satisfaction with the education you received. These rankings assist Coe in attracting the best, brightest students. Keeping Coe competitive, in turn increases the value of your degree.
So, it's the fact you do give, not how much you give.
