Coe Connections

Coe Connections is an online database system designed to connect students, alumni and employers during their internship or job search process. The system allows students to upload resumes/cover letters, search and apply for internships/jobs and learn about each organization in the system. Employers can post jobs and internships, search student resumes. Faculty can search for students, alums and employers, in addition to jobs and internships. Students and employers will also be able to register for a Coe College Career Events (such as workshops, mock interview days, employer panels etc.).

Graduate School Assistance

Kaplan's Practice Graduate School Tests Drive Program
Through a partnership with Kaplans, students have the opportunity to take an actual paper-based practice test of the MCAT, GRE, LSAT, GMAT, or DAT. When students complete the practice test they are sent their results.

Resume Writing Skills
Students will learn how to effectively sell their skills and experiences on paper by writing a strong resume and cover letter. If we are working with nursing majors, or students majoring in the hard sciences; we can tailor a resume workshop to meet the needs of students in different disciplines.

Interview Skills
This workshop will help students prepare and present themselves for that internship interview, job interview, or an interview for medical school or graduate school admissions.

Career Assessment
Career Services uses The Strong Interest Inventory tool when helping students determine their major and/or become more focused about their career and life plans.

Career Resource Library
The Career Services Resource Library has an impressive number (over 600 and growing) of diverse library resources that canassist students who are exploring career alternatives, job searching, selecting and applying to graduate/professional schools, relocating, studying abroad, or are adventure travel/volunteer experience.
