Rader earns
All-American honors with sixth-place finish

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa–Senior
Holly Rader (Sumner, Iowa/Sumner) has earned All-American
honors in the women's weight throw at today's NCAA Indoor
National Championships. Rader placed sixth with a throw
of 16.47 meters. She is the first Indoor Track All-American
for the Kohawks since the Distance Medley team placed sixth
in 2004.
Rader earned a spot at nationals
with a fourth place finish at the Iowa Conference Championships.
The top two throws at the IIAC Finals earned automatic berths
to the NCAA's, while the third place thrower and Rader provisionally
qualified. Rader's throw of 16.6 meters was her top throw
of the season.
Ohio Northern University is hosting
this year's championship. Full results can be found at this
